Some participants have raised 'the vomit question'. Here's the deal:
Puke & Rally = Thumbs Up
Puke & Pass Out = Thumbs Down
If you happen to get sick you have 15 minutes after you finish to get back into the competitions. If you can't make it back in 15 minutes your team will be penalized for all of the events you miss.
The penalizations are as follows:
Beer Bong, 4x4 Relay
For every player not able to compete 30 seconds will be added to teams final time. A player from your team must compete twice to make up for your absence.
Individual Events
If you are passed out while your individual event is taking place you get a scratch
Bean Bags
This is going to be a little wordy: If you can't participate your bags can't be thrown. So Team USA has players A,B,C,D and player C is passed out. This means that Round 1 players A & B throw all four bags. Round 2 player D throws two bags. For the rest of the game player D only throws 2 bags. Got it?
Baseball
For every player that is passed out for baseball their team misses an inning of batting.
Flippie Cup & Beer Pong
Your team is eliminated.

I am gonna have to disagree with this - as much as I appreciate all you are preparing here wruk, I don't think your team should pretty much be taken out of any chance of winning if your teammate gets "injured" the rest of the team would jsut have to drink more and pick up the teammates slack. Everyone loves an underdog!
ReplyDeleteReviewing this again, I think that most of these are pretty good to eliminate teams having their bad players sit out.
ReplyDeleteSomeone who won't be named (although he does love trivia) was talking about the strategic benefits of having certain people sit out for certain events. I am hoping that these penalties will prevent teams from doing that, while still giving teams a chance to compete if one of their players is legitimately unable to play.
