Team Events

There are seven team events at the Olympics.

Case Race
All team members work together to finish their case of beer the fastest. Each team member must drink at least 3 beers or the team is disqualified from event. Each team has the option of moving their beer from cans to a regulation cup. No beer bonging, shot gunning, etc. allowed.

Beer Bong Relay
Each team lines up. 1st player bongs a beer. When beer is finished player passes bong to next in line who then bongs his or her own beer. This continues until last player is finished bonging his/her beer. Fastest time wins. A referee will fill all beer bongs and will record time. If an excessive amount of beer is spilled the player will need to bong a new beer. It is up to the referees discretion to determine just what an excessive amount is.
*If hygiene is a concern, a team may bring their own beer bong.

Bean Bags
Each team member participates. Players A,B,C,D. 1st round, players A&B throw. 2nd round, players C&D throw. 3rd round, A&B throw. 4th round, C&D throw. This pattern continues until game is finished. 1st team to score 21 points wins. At the end of each round, the team that does not score must drink the number of points scored.
ex/ Team 1 gets 4 bags on board. Team 2 sinks 1 bag and misses board with remaining 3 bags. Team 1 scored 1 point for this round, so everyone on Team 2 must take one drink.

In the event of a shut out, 11-0, every player on loosing team must slam a beer.

Baseball
This is a single elimination tournament compitition. At the end of three innings the team with the most runs scored moves onto the next round. Four glasses are in a line, largest glass in back. The glasses represent baseball hits (closest = single, farthest = home run, 2 middle glasses = double & triple respectively). The 'single' glass has least amount of beer while the 'home run' has the most beer. Each team tries to bounce a quarter into one of the filled glasses. If a quarter goes in a glass the opposing team must drink that glass and all the glasses below it. All glasses must be finished and are immediately refilled before next batter throws his/her quarter. Each glass will be marked with a fill line. People on each team need to establish a batting order and stick to it when shooting their quarters. If someone misses a glass that counts as a strike. 3 strikes = 1 out. 3 outs and it's the other team's turn to bat. So nine misses = your batting is over( Meaning if I have 1 out, 2 strikes and no runners on then hit a double, I now have 1 out, 2 strikes a runner on 2nd. Your strikes aren't eliminated with hits.). This goes on for three innings. Scoring is simple, runs are driven in by teammates forcing them in with numerous hits (i.e. a single followed by a triple scores a run). When the game has finished, runs are tallied and loosing team has to drink all the cups one more time.
*I tried a trial game of baseball Saturday night and a nine inning game would take 7 hours. There will only be 3 innings.

Flippie Cup
This is a double elimination tournament style competition. Team moves to next round by winning best of 5.

Beer Pong
This is a double elimination tournament style competition. Players A, B, C, D. 1st round players A&B throw. 2nd round players C&D throw. This pattern continues until game is finished. Cups must be filled 1/2 way. 2 re racks per game. If ball is bounced in, 2 cups are eliminated (but opposing team can knock ball away). If both players sink they get to throw again. No 'fingering' or 'blowing'.

4x4 Relay
Event 1: The Waitress
Olympian A drinks a beer then pours a full glass of beer and runs/walks to station #2 carrying the glass on a tray. If beer is spilled out (glass will be marked with a line) Olympian must start over. Once beer is passed off wait at station 4.
Event 2: Puzzle Master
When Olympian A arrives with your beer, drink it. Then assemble the puzzle at your station. When puzzle is completed run to station #3 and tag your teammate. Once teammate is tagged wait at station 4.
Event 3: Bat Spins
Once Olympian B tags you, drink your beer. Then spin around the bat 7 times, run to tree, grab blindfold, run to station 4 and tie blindfold over Olympian D's eyes.
Event 4: Treasure Hunt
Once Olympian D has been blindfolded, his/her teammates will lead, by voice, to the hidden beer in the front yard. Once hidden beer is found, remove your blindfold and drink beer.
Team with the fastest time wins. A referee will hide the beer.
